Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’ on stage this weekend

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, in its 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Year, will be at the Aksra Theatre King Power in Phaya Thai for four performances from September 27-29.

The world’s most famous theatrical whodunit was written by Agatha Christie after the late Queen Mary asked for an Agatha Christie play to celebrate her 80th birthday. Christie, one of the world’s most celebrated mystery authors at that time, promptly wrote a 30-minute radio production called Three Blind Mice. This was later adapted for the stage as The Mousetrap.

The Mousetrap will be shown on Sept. 27 and 28 at 8pm, with matinee performances on Sept. 28 and 29 at 2pm.

The cast for the four shows in Bangkok will include actors who have starred in the London production, and tickets start at THB2000, reported the Phuket News.
