Hopes for a haircut with a happy ending were cut short last night by a barbershop that had to tell men it was not actually staffed by stunning young women.
The Real Cut 4 in Nakhon Sawan city had to trim expectations after would-be patrons went wild over a dozen photos of women wearing very little as they provocatively pressed their chests against and straddled men who clearly did not need haircuts.
“In regards to receiving calls and inquiries via our page, there seems to have been a misunderstanding about what we provide at our barbershop,” it announced on social media.
Before that clarification, razor-sharp imaginations had run wild.
“Is this a barbershop or a massage parlor?” read one comment on the shop’s original post.
“It’s a shame I had my haircut yesterday!!” read another.
Alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
“Is it really like this at our shop? No, this was just a promotional photoshoot. We have a female and two male barbers, the ones in the picture are the owner and someone who isn’t a barber.”
So who was the model in the picture? The owner’s girlfriend.
Some took the close shave in stride.
“I told my wife I was going for a quick haircut! Tried to look for the shop on the left, couldn’t find it, so I went to the one on the right instead,” one memesmith captioned an image showing the barber babes on the left and a shirtless man on the right.
