Earlier today, Hiranyathorn Plodsuwan, a 24-year-old senior undergraduate student, surrendered to police at the Bang Yi Rua station after admitting to attacking her junior fellow with bathroom cleaner this Tuesday.
Hiranyathorn admitted to shooting Kwanruedee Piasakul, 21, in the face with a water gun loaded with bathroom cleaner on April 23 in front of a convenience store on Issaraphap Road in the Thonburi district. Kwanruedee remains hospitalized while recovering from rashes caused by an allergic reaction to the chemical.
Hiranyathorn told police that she was driven to anger by the victim’s condescending behavior and her persistent, caustic Facebook status updates. Hiranyathorn is being held at the Bang Yi Rua police station for questioning and will face an assault charge, Dailynews reported.
