A pickup truck transporting Burmese workers struck a barrier on a road outside Bangkok last night killing 8 and injuring 18.
Saw U, the driver, said he was taking seafood factory workers to their accommodations in Samut Sakhon province, but a speeding car in the opposite lane drove him into a barrier under the Tha Chin Bridge.
Saw U was charged with reckless driving and damaging public property, Daily News reported.
