A deputy city clerk threw out this random guesstatistic today to urge dog owners to get their pets vaccinated. While you’re at it, consider taking in a stray or six from your soi for the same.
According to The Nation, city hall’s Pirapong Saichua said attempts to reduce rabies in the street population are being hampered by the fact many people’s pets are rabid.
After his short speech, Pirapong reportedly went back to drinking his 20 glasses of water.
