40 years after darkness fell on Phnom Penh

Forty years after shooting Phnom Penh as it fell to the the Khmer Rouge, photographer Roland Neveu continues to document the Cambodian capital.

Four decades later, Alliance Française Bangkok is commemorating that time with a new series of photographs from Neveu at an exhibition opening May 7.

There will also a special screening of Iv Charbonneau’s “Cambodge, après l’adieu” (Cambodia After Farewell).

The opening reception start from 6:30pm, May 7, with the film to show at 7:45pm. The exhibition runs through May 24.

Entry is free for the photography exhibition and THB100 for the movie, seats for which can be reserved online.
