Eleven police officers were expelled from the civil service today after a photo of them throwing hi-low dice swept through the internet.
The squad of law enforcement officers were sent to a field adjacent to Parliament yesterday. Thousands of protesters are expected to stage a rally against the controversial Amnesty Bill in the area today. Since the group of policemen had one free whole night prior to the rally, they decided to spend their time in a hi-low ring set up inside the Public Sector Development Commission building opposite to the House.
Having heard about the incident this morning, National Police Chief Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew instantly sacked the policemen and an started an investigation into the issue, INN reports.
