Known for its pricey apartments catering to wealthy expats with housing allowances, Sathorn was considered more safe than cool for many years. However, more recently, bespoke cocktail bars, after-hours hotspots, and cool, creative cultural events have started making Sathorn come alive after dark. Beware though, due to the area’s plethora of leafy yards and green gardens, some large snakes have been spotted in the area. Like, 5-meter pythons. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
