Home to high-rise office buildings, four-star hotels, serviced apartments, and of course, Terminal 21 shopping mall, Asoke is among Bangkok’s busiest areas. For affordable, hip clothing, check out the local boutiques that cover the the nine-storey retail space at Terminal 21. If you want to eat like a local, the mall also offers a great food court with a large seating area that’s usually filled with office workers during lunchtime. Asoke is also known for its vibrant nightlife, but there’s more to the story than the notorious Soi Cowboy red-light district. Glow has long been one of Bangkok expats’ favored nightclubs, but just so you know, the party doesn’t start until late. For more of a Thai scene, there will be friendly faces at Narz. For a cheap thrill, join the masses taking pictures of the massive intersection from the BTS walkway.
