This September, dinosaurs will ravish and rule the city as a dazzling multi-million production returns to Bangkok.
After seeing massive success back in 2010, “Walking with Dinosaurs — The Arena Spectacular” will be staged here yet again, offering a thrilling live arena experience wherein spectators are taken back in time 200 million years ago, when these gigantic creatures walked the Earth.
The show is a live adaptation of the award-winning BBC television series “Walking with Dinosaurs,” and features 18 life-size dinosaurs such as the Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Brachiosaurus (the largest of them all).
The production is claimed to be the biggest and the best dinosaur show in the world, and references the state-of-the-art technology that’s required to create this life-like replicas. So far, it has toured 250 cities and has been shown to over 9 million people.
The $2o-million production was developed by Melbourne-based animatronics company Creature Technology Co.
The show is split into two acts at 40 minutes each, with a 20-minute intermission in between.
Walking with Dinosaurs will take place from September 12 until September 15 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi province, a part of the greater Bangkok Metropolitan Area. Tickets start at THB600 and they can be purchased online starting June 15.
