As they prepare to unleash hell against the unidentified enemy, the commanders reach for Samsung smartphones and press “play now.” Yeah, it’s a commercial for a smartphone game, but it’s a fun and timely distraction, and there’s a cool scene of Prayuth throwing a tantrum over his war map, all “Der Untergang” style.
But why is the United States’ arsenal of fighter jets and armored vehicles set against a mish-mash of feudal Asian infantry, bowmen and cavalry? Guess we have to play to find out.
