Four months after first creating a space for women to sell, shop and meet, the “Female Founders Farmers’ Market” returns in April to the same lush Bangkok garden.

On April 3, aka International Day Against Victim Blaming, female collective Bangkok Rising and social enterprise Ila will bring more than 40 local brands fronted by women to raise money  selling food and baked goods to sustainable handicrafts. Art workshops will take place as well as live performances.

All vendor fees from the event will go toward funding Ila’s development of an app meant to help victims and educate and create allies to stand against abuse.

Entry is free. The Female Founders Farmers’ Market will run noon to 5pm at Patom Organic Living, a lifestyle store and cafe located on Soi Phrom Phak, just off Soi Sukhumvit 49.
