What are you doing this mid-August? Because we’re going to see Japandroids

I’m pretty sure that when Japandroids formed, neither Brian King nor David Prowse had the slightest notion that one day they would be playing the actual Japan. Or Seoul. Or – wouldn’tyaknowit – Bangkok.

If you’re unfamiliar with Japandroids, be apprised of the following information concerning the Canadian duo: 1) There’s only two of them; 2) they recently released an album called Celebration Rock that is the absolute bee’s knees, and 3) they have lots of ENERGY – so much energy that everything they say and do takes place in ITALIC CAPITALS. YEAH!

Also (in case you couldn’t infer this) the group is a lot of fun. Their shows are loud, sweaty and exuberant. One of them will be taking place in Bangkok this August 14. It will probably look like this (only with more sweat…if that’s even possible):
