Local acts: My Mind to Your Mind
Live music from a diverse set of local indie acts will buzz the always buzzing scene at Cosmic Cafe on Royal City Avenue. We’re talking folky folk, poppy pop, indie-y indie and rocky rock from bands such as Part Time Musicians, Stoondio, Kobe, Moving and Cut and Yod Plean Jit.

The animalistic DJ duo from Brooklyn dance scene, “Wolf” Eisenberg and Gadi “Lamb” Mizrahi, make their Bangkok debut this friday at Glow Nightclub. As producers they are known for their slow, ruminative deep house and as a label they are home to the likes of of Soul Clap, Deniz Kurtel and Nicolas Jaar so expect a night of the highest quality sounds all night.

All the way from Queens, New York, Popscene brings you gritty alternative hip-hop stalwart Heems (part of massive outfit Das Racist). This is Heems’ first ever appearance in Bangkok, so expect a set packed with some of the most original and critically acclaimed hip-hop of recent times. Supporting act by The Real, DJS Jay Baron, Ola’s Kool Kitchen and Yark.

As the city descends into chaos, Duck & Noodle are heading upriver on the SS Vanvarang and inviting you to join them. Actually, the boat won’t move, which is better for spontaneous ins-and-outs anyway. Part floating music fest and electronic dance party, the event features four bands playing on the bow stage. In the cargo hold, DJs Dave Aju and Kenneth Scott from Berlin along with local deckjockeys Superstar Panda, Yamak’a and Dane Wetschler will rock the boat.
