Triumph Kingdom singer back on stage after 8 years in prison

The voice? Check. Legendary halter top? Check. Inspiring short-shorts? Negative.

Those infamous little shorts were about all that was missing – that and her previous eight years of life spent in prison – when ‘90s pop star Pornpan “Joyce” Rattamamethanon returned to the stage for a holiday show to the ear-bleeding screams of her fans once again at the “BoydKo Family Christmas Together.”

33-year-old Joyce, along with her Triumph Kingdom partner Surattanawee “Bow” Suwiporn appeared on stage as surprise guests to sing their hit song “Handkerchief” in front of an audience who warmly welcomed their return.

As this was the first appearance of Joyce after serving her eight years in prison for drug-related charges, many netizens who attended the concert would described the experience as “tear-jerking.”

“I got goosebumps. People were screaming for her, and I shed a tear,” Mareeya commented.

Triumph Kingdom was known for many catchy pop songs such as “Take Off,” “Don’t get me Wrong” and “Fat.” They were also granted the nickname “the legendary tank top” for being the first mainstream singers to adopt flesh-baring clothes, which helped start a fashion trend of more casual sexuality for young women in Thailand.
