It’s been a while since the last time our night owls had something to hoot about.

While discotheques remain locked tight – at least until Jan. 16 – the night gets a little brighter tonight with the reopening of one place reliable for quality jams and some good bar grub.

Black Cabin Bar announced last night it will welcome visitors again after being shut half a year with local talents performing British rock live music.

While the full lineup for tonight has yet to be announced, patrons can expect oldie-but-goodie covers from The Beatles and Queen to Pink Floyd and Arctic Monkeys.

Since the pandemic is still raging like a bucket of Sangsom, visitors are required to book in advance via Line @blackcabinbar and show proof of vaccination. Doors open at 5pm.

Since Oct. 1, live music has been allowed back on stage so long as bands have no more than five members that are masked up at all times, except for the singer.

Black Cabin is located on Soi Farm Wattana just off Rama IV Road across from Kluaynamthai Hospital, about 1 kilometer from BTS Phra Khanong.
