Yesterday marked 27 years since Phonthip “Bui” Simon became the second Miss Universe from Thailand after the eternally gorgeous Apasra Hongsakula.
Phontip, who’s now 46 and happily married, won the crown in 1988 and became the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador of Thailand. She currently serves on the boards of several children’s charities including Angels Wings Foundation, which she founded.
