If you’ve been looking for a new hip hangout spot in central Bangkok, look no further than Marley’s Bar & Café. With a great location in Thonglor, Marley’s is a cool and cozy multi-level Amsterdam-style coffee shop (read: dispensary, for the uninitiated) that has several extensive menus, including food and drinks. The friendly staff are also always on hand to guide customers through Marley’s various offerings.
First off, the food menu is a mix of Western and Thai classics, and their bestsellers include buffalo wings, a stacked club sandwich, and fresh homemade waffles with ice-cream (perfect to cool you down in this weather). If you’re coming in a group, order sharing options like gyozas, fries, and wings. Want something more substantial? Get a hearty English breakfast, the creamy pasta carbonara, or a tried-and-true plate of warm fried rice.
On the drinks side of things, there’s a Buy 4 Get 1 Free beer bucket and all your usual other alcoholic options from classic cocktails to red and white wine. Those who don’t drink alcohol will also be happy to hear that the Marley’s kitchen also whips up refreshing Italian sodas and (our favorite) thick milkshakes.
Besides the delicious food and beverages, Marley’s also caught our eye with its living room-esque vibes which encourage customers to chill and get to know one another. The musically-inclined can play around on the DJ decks or pick up a guitar or bongo set, while the more competitive customers gather around the pool and air hockey tables. There are also retro arcade game machines and a PS4 and PS5 featuring a number of games (including FIFA and Grand Theft Auto).

Marley’s is located on Sukhumvit 55 close to Thonglor Soi 16, and is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. from Friday to Sunday.
