Anyone still wondering whether they would be Wondering later this year got an answer today: Wonderfruit Festival organizers said the 2020 version of their fun, wild and trippy party set for December has been canceled.
“We started planning it all out; Wonderfruit 2020 was going to be beautiful, and reflective of the year our planet was going through. But as weeks became months, the limitations, insecurity, and confusion grew. We went through multiple scenarios and various discussions but there were just too many variables. So we have made the difficult decision to delay Wonderfruit to December 2021,” the festival announced on its official site and socials.
Ticket-holders can get refunds, but organizers are pleading with them to support the festival by holding on to them for valid entry next year.
Since the pandemic began earlier this year, festivals and gigs around the globe have been canceled or postponed indefinitely including Coachella, Tomorrowland and Summer Sonic. In Thailand, Maho Rasop Festival was among those, with organizers saying it would instead take place in late 2021.
