Then and now: ‘60s beauty queens still gorgeous

With a global audience ogling Miss Universe Thailand today much as it did when she was crowned in 1965, the internet’s gone on to size up other beauty queens of the era.

From Argentina to the Sweden, the loveliest ladies of the 1960s were collected into a collage by TV Pool showing how they’re doing five decades later.

We gotta say age has not diminished their beauty.

Of course, the focus was on our Apasra Hongsakula, who won the international pageant in 1965 and still looks fine at 67.

The collage features winners from 1962 through 1968 as follows:

1962 Norma Nolan, Argentina

1963 Iêda Maria Vargas, Brazil

1964 Corinna Tsopei, Greece

1966 Margareta Arvidsson, Sweden

1967 Sylvia Hitchcock, USA

1968  Martha Vasconcellos, Brazil

While you’re at it. Check out these amazing recent photos of Apasra, our first Miss Universe winner.
