Thailand’s Top 10 Hottest Toms of Instagram

While the world obsesses over the ladyboys of our polysexual society, our totally hot toms (tomboys) go underrated and underexposed.

For the uninitiated, a tom generally refers to a woman who dresses as a man, adopts some masculine mannerisms and prefers the company of the girly women (the “dees”) who are attracted to them.

So a year after presenting the hottest ladyboys of Instagram, and with the help of our tom insiders and a great dedication to searching the entire internet, Coconuts presents the hottest toms of Instagram.

1. Patcharee “Som” Anantaweerach – 17,000 followers

Som is more than a buff dude with thick eyebrows who recently caught the public’s attention. Although she came into fame for her big guns, Som insists on sticking with the polite, feminine particle “ka” instead of “krub” when speaking.

Som is an artist manager for Grammy and is proud of her natural assets, claiming she never took protein or juiced on hormones but gained her muscles with sweat and tears.

“I’ve never felt I wanted to become a man. I’ve been always like this, growing up with my big brother and a manly lifestyle,” Som told ThairathTV. “I like to say ‘ka,’ so I say it. My heart may be ‘manly,’ but I’m not trying to become a man. I don’t intend to compete with men, and I don’t think I’m better than men.”

2. Puwarin “Zee” Keenan, 304,000 followers

An English-Indonesian pop idol known for her hit “Easy but Lonely,” Zee, 25, was once stabbed by a girl for not returning her love. She also brags about having a way with the ladies before becoming a corporate music artist and having to live up to those social expectations.

“When I was 17-18 years old, I liked to go out and always went home with a different girl every night,” Zee told Star Max. “There was one time a girl took me to her place, and her boyfriend was in the living room, watching football. She dragged me to the bedroom anyway, and we did it.”

3. Supanat “Tina” Jintaleela, – 598,000 followers

Tina is a 23-year-old actor who has landed the lead role in successful movies such as “Extreme Love, Fin Sugoi” and “3AMpart2.” However, her fame is owed to her first movie, “Yes or No: Love as you wish,” which depicted a love story between a tom and dee.

“It depends on each person, but I personally want toms to be cute, say ‘ka’ and stuff like that,” Tina told Thairath. “Toms are basically women, and they should keep their girliness.”

4. Saruda “Babymild” Kiatwarawut, 70,000 followers

The newest star from the series Hormones, Babymild brought tom-dee love to the popular show for the first time in its second season.

5. Lalana “Jeab” Kongtoranin, 61,000 followers

Beauty queen-turned-tom Jeab, 26, shocked the press earlier this year when she opened an Instagram account revealing her new look for the first time. Who would expect Miss Thailand (2006) to dump her jeweled crown and high heels for this new butch look?

When asked about her tom status, Jeab has refused to be pinned down.

“I’m open-minded. If it feels right, it feels right: any sex, age and look,” Jeab told reporters in an interview earlier this year.

6. Sunanta “Nan” Yuraniyom, 32,000 followers

Nan, 23, auditioned for “The Star” singing competition for three years in a row but never made it. Instead, she collected more people for her fan club with each attempt. Last year, Nan ended up as a contestant of a competing program, “Academy Fantasia.”

She landed a record deal with True Fantasia and had a hit song “Make it real.” What’s interesting about her music video is the gender of her heartbreaker isn’t revealed until the end.

Spoiler: Yep, it’s a girl.

7. Kluay R Siam, 34,000 followers

Another R Siam corporate artist, Kluay’s first music video, “Empty Heart,” has been viewed more than 24 million times. Even though R Siam is known for producing hit luk thung songs, Kluay, 22, is more pop rock ‘n’ roll than country.

8. Qwaa Phunnutta, 128,000 followers

Qwaa, 25, is known for her resemblance to K-pop star G-Dragon of Big Bang and last year appeared as a contestant on Mr. @tom Act, a tom magazine’s competition to find the hottest tom. Qwaa also demonstrated she can sing in her audition.

9. Tinnamin “Built” Taekinakrawin, 89,000 followers

Who says toms have to be about muscles and mustaches? Tinnamin’s physique may be the tiniest in the bunch, but that’s what makes her so adorable. According to one tom source, Tinmin, 25, enjoys a large fanbase outside Thailand.

10. Diyar Donavanik aka Gunmila Whitesmith – 7,300 followers

While 7,300 followers may seem small potatoes for our list, we had to include Diyar. Known as the only fashion model in Thailand with a tomboyish look, Diyar stands out in the industry for her unique character. She also won the Praew Model competition in 2011.

“People may look at me as a tom … a weirdo and think: How could this person be a model? But I don’t care,” Diyar told Mthai. “I know what I am. It’s not about being a tom or not.”
