Brother of lakorn star Mario Maurer was taken to a Chonburi police station last night after he ran a checkpoint.
Marco Maurer, who raps under the name “Psycho,” said he panicked after seeing a checkpoint on his way home to Bangkok at midnight last night, so he called a friend who encouraged him to just drive through it.
Chonburi police promptly called for backup and closed a bridge in the Nong Mai Dang sub-district, preventing the 30-year-old rapper from escaping.
By the time they caught up with him, police said they found nothing suspicious other than some rolling papers. Police took him to Muang Chonburi police station and subjected him to a drug test. They said Marco will be charged based on the results.
