A-list superstar Araya “Chompoo” Hargate, who has remained a fashion icon and television leading lady for the past decade, wed this morning to businessman billionaire Witsarut Rangsisingpipat.
A traditional Khan Maak ceremony was held at the Peninsula Bangkok in a theme of white flowers, but instead of hosting a loud groom parade, 38-year-old Witsarut rolled up in style in a Mercedes.
Chompoo, 33, looked like a million baht, while her dowry was a sky-high THB108 million, including some cash, an 8.8-karat diamond ring, other jewelry and a luxury starter home worth THB60 million.
That’s all too fancy for our blood, but congratulations nonetheless, Chompoo!
The wedding reception, expected to be the fanciest of its kind this year, will be held Sunday.
