Style trap: Found fashions from the streets of Bangkok (June 10)

Sometimes, we’re urban anthropologists, stalking Bangkok’s jungles in search of the best-dressed creatures therein. These are the spoils of that hunt – fetishists of fierce, take heed.

 Un and Nay, 31 and 36 respectively. They enjoy visiting CDC since the venue is close to their home. They believe high-waisted shorts and skirts, along with bright neon colors, are in at the moment.

 Pierce, 27, lives near CDC. She takes her style inspiration from Elle, Instagram and other online sources. On her casual days, she loves wearing long skirts and showing off her hat collections.

She often updates her wardrobe based on the Instagram and Facebook accounts of Thai celebrities. On her casual days, she loves wearing trousers but on special occasions will opt for a dress.

Noey says that current “must-haves” include matching crop tops and shorts by Thai designer like Milin. Aey feels that the stripes fashion is ruling the day.

 Pim and Ployroong also visits Siam once a week. They love the local brands like CHP and Lynn Around. They identifiy torn hot-pants and stripes as the trends of the moment. On their casual days, they go for easy fitting cloths.
