Do you agree or disagree with the saying, “The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese?”

Can the second time actually be the charm?

Come find out next week, at Jam Cafe Bangkok’s second “No Mic Open Mic” night next Thursday.

The event, set in an intimate small cafe, is co-hosted by JAM Cafe with the “No Mic Open Mic Poetry” group. It is a place for all performers to “hear and be heard.”

A sign-up sheet will be passed around on the night of the event, if you’re keen to take the spotlight.

This time, the theme will revolve around “seconds.” This includes, but is not limited to: sloppy seconds, second chances, second best, second helpings—maybe even the Second Coming. Get creative, because the options are endless.

The event is open to all, and admission is free. Whether you’re an amateur poet or an expert on verse, you are welcome to join.
