The question is, how addicted to Sriracha are you? If you’re one of those who rave that Sriracha tastes good on everything, from Sriracha-drizzled veggies to Sriracha chips—even Sriracha Mayo—get ready for some real talk, because the spicy condiment has more history to it than you may think.

Until today, the story behind this “iconic” sauce remains unknown to many. On July 24, however, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand (FCCT), in partnership with the U.S Embassy Bangkok and The American Film Showcase, will host a “Documentary Film Night: Sri Racha”. This will not only reveal its history, but also the identity of the man who began it all.

Please note that the documentary has no Thai subtitles. However, admission is free for all members, and only THB150 for non-members. More information on ticket purchases can be found here.
