As live music amps up again across town, a hip coffee hot spot in the old quarter is adding tunes to its menu.
The century-old building that houses Sarnies Bangkok will hum every Friday and Saturday with live musical acts to pair with its bites – with drinks that go beyond coffee, and more time on the clock.
Dubbed Sarnies Night Live, or SNL, the weekend live music events will be hosted 7:30pm to 9:30pm on the second floor. The place has a new alcoholic beverage menu headed by Pae Ketumarn, who has returned from shaking drinks at The SG Club, an award-winning bar in Tokyo.
Visitors can expect R&B, jazz, funk, and soul, and a later closing time of 10pm.
This Friday, hear Najwa & The Band play some jazz, blues, soul, and Motown.
Sarnies Bangkok is located on Soi Charoen Krung 44, only a few minutes from BTS Saphan Taksin by foot.
