The mother-of-all commercial dance parties returns to Bangkok tonight for its second outing and the roads to Bitec Bang Na will be clogged as 17,000 attendees head for the “Wicked Wonderland” of Sensation Thailand.
Tickets ranged from THB3,000 to THB4,500 for the heavily produced and promoted event, but that didn’t stop it from selling out quickly.
“This year the DJ lineup is solid, and more of my friends who missed out last time are going,” said Nicky Tanskul, a student in Chulalongkorn’s Communication Arts program. It’s gonna be sick.”
The dance party was originally scheduled for Saturday night, but was moved up due to Sunday’s general election.
