Rough night leaving you unproductive at work the next day? Visits to dessert cafes around town leaving you in a food coma? And — horror upon horrors — no double or triple espresso shot on earth capable of keeping you alert?

If even Bangkok’s best cold brews can’t keep you fueled, then maybe all you need is a nap.

It’s no secret that “power napping” helps elevate one’s mood and boost overall productivity. In a sprawling, sleep-deprived city such as Bangkok, there are a few venues that you can walk in and out of to catch some quick Z’s.

Power Nap Lounge

Having opened in June of last year, Power Nap Lounge is located conveniently inside an office building connected to BTS Asoke. Prices start at THB190 (US$6), which will get you either 30 minutes on a massage chair or a full hour on a hammock. Not enough? Pay another THB100 (US$3) for double the time. The fee includes one cup of coffee, and additional drinks, food and shower rooms are also available at the venue.

NapLab Chula

This 24-hour co-working spot — which is equipped with a nap station that has mattresses, lots of pillows, and small bedside tables — is arguably the most recognized among university students and digital nomads living downtown. The two-story venue offers WiFi, meeting rooms, shower rooms and the aforementioned “nap caves.” Prices start at THB150 (US$4.8) for four hours. Monthly memberships and discounts for students are also available.

If you love going to a salon for a hair wash and relaxing head massage, check out Nap Sleep Salons near MRT Rama 9. The salon offers hair washes and head-to-shoulder massages, during which sleeping is highly encouraged among customers. The service starts at THB700 (US$22) per hour.

Though Sheldon Ekamai is equipped with plenty of board games and video game consoles like PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, it’s more than a game cafe — it’s also, as the place describes itself, an “alternative hangout.” (AKA, place to nap.) Those seeking to catch up on some solid Z’s can even rent a bed for THB50 (US$1.6) per hour. The venue is open 24-hour every day and is located on the fourth floor of Acmen Ekamai complex.

Don’t bother trying to beat the traffic to downtown — those who live in Bangkok’s riverside area now have NapLab WangLang, the second branch of NapLab Chula that opened just late last year. Like its sister venue, the space is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week, and offers free WiFi, shared workspaces and “nap caves.” The cost of stay for walk-in customers starts at THB150 (US$4.8) for the first three hours.

In the heart of Siam lies a co-working space that doesn’t only offer hot desks, office-like shared workspace and private meeting rooms at affordable prices, but also bean bags and nap chairs for those who need to catch some sleep in between working hours. It costs THB40 (US$1.2) per hour per person, or THB200 (US$6.4) per day.
