Save it, get gone, shut up: Dua Lipa to perform in Bangkok

English pop star Dua Lipa, best known for her hits IDGAF and Hotter than Hell, will make her Bangkok debut in September, promoter BEC-Tero announced this morning.

Lipa, who won two Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act earlier this year, will perform at GMM Live House, a concert hall above the CentralWorld shopping mall on Sept. 17.

After giving us a miss earlier this month when she played in both Singapore and Malaysia, we’re certainly happy that the English songbird has decided to head back our way for a show.

Tickets start at THB2,000 (about US$62) and will go on sale on June 16.

There is just one problem. If you’re also a fan of American rock group The Killers, you’re gonna have a tough choice to make.

The Somebody Told Me rockers will be performing the very same night at Thunder Dome, a concert hall on the other side of town. As far as we know, that’s their only stop in Southeast Asia.

Oh, well. There are definitely worse problems to have.
