The boat floats, but it doesn’t go anywhere. And that’s a good thing when you get lost, adrift on the Sangsom Sea.
Bangkok’s original Boat Party returns later this month to the S.S. Vanvarang for an all-night party featuring live bands, DJs, bars and eats.
Nearly two years after launching their first “floating music festival,” the eclectic party curators at Duck & Noodle return to the waves from 9pm til sunrise on Jan. 25 at a Chao Phraya River berth just off Charoen Krung Soi 80.
On the upper deck, a video artist will light things up and JRYNT, Yellow Fang, and Waxon Waxoff with Gramaphone Children & Cyndi Seui will perform. In the cargo hold/boogie den, Berlin DJ Dave Aju will bring his style of deep house and techno, along with local DJs Superstar Panda, Yamak’a and Dane Wetschler. Entertainment will continue until sunrise.
Tickets are THB400 and include one Bavaria beer.
