British singer Rex Orange County will bring his unique blend of indie pop and soul to Bangkok in October, organizer Viji Corp announced today.
The 25-year-old artist’s BKK gig, part of his newly announced Live in Asia tour, will take place Oct. 21 at Moonstar Studio in north Bangkok’s Wang Thonglang district.
Tickets go on sale Friday via Ticketmelon for THB2,200.
The tour, which kicks off in September, marks the singer’s anticipated arrival in Asia, featuring stops in Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, Jakarta, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.
Named after a teacher-given nickname, “The OC”, Alexander James O’Connor enjoys a large following in Asia with his introspective songwriting and catchy melodies.
He gained significant attention with songs such as Sunflower, Best Friend, 10/10, as well as his collab single with Tom Misch, Loving Is Easy.
Rex Orange County released his fourth studio album Who Cares? in March 2022.
