Nat, a Thammasat University student, wowed the crowd with her elegant walk as all contestants glided onto the stage in their evening gowns and swimsuits. Their performance will determine who will make the top 15.

Nat was introduced as the girl who learned to play guitar by watching YouTube video and wants to be a social worker after graduation.

The final round of Miss Universe 2015 will be held on Monday morning, when the winner will be announced.

Thai pageant fans have high hopes for Nat to at least take home the best national costume award with our proud tuk tuk dress, which is equipped with headlights and all.

Thailand has had two winners of the Miss Universe beauty pageant. Apasra Hongsakul, who still amazes the public by how young she looks at 67, won the first crown for Thailand in 1965. The second winner was Pornthip Nakhirunkanok, who won in 1988.
