On June 10, Seven Spoons will take you back in time to 19th century Burma’s Pegu Club, a beautiful teak Victorian-style gentlemen’s club built to serve British army officers and civilian administrators.
The afternoon will be highlighted by captivating historical stories told by Mark Horton, a South African architect who has gained a reputation for observing and encouraging heritage building projects in Yangon, Myanmar.
The libation of the evening will be the Pegu Club’s signature cocktail — the historic drink that the club was known for — mixed on the spot and featuring a dash of orange bitters, orange curacao, gin, and lime juice.
