In just several weeks, Bangkok R&B fans will get a chance to see — in a small, intimate venue — 2000s superstar Ja Rule.
Appearing on May 9 at Sukhumvit Soi 11’s Sugar Club, the super-affordable early bird tickets for THB600 sold-out overnight but tickets are still a steal at just THB875 (and more for VIP packages).
Sugar Club is a dance club, and tickets are general admission and standing (aka dancing).
The Grammy-nominated rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has collaborated with Ashanti, J. Lo, R. Kelly, and Christina Milian.
More recently, he also collaborated — somewhat less successfully — with Billy McFarland on the disastrous Fyre Festival, which left rich partygoers stranded on a Bahamian island at about this time last year.
