Bangkok, get ready for some baby making music. Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better on the 2015 live music calendar, we got word that iconic American R&B group Boyz II Men is coming to the Kingdom Sunday, August 16. See also: swoon.
Boyz II Men got together way back in 1988, a time before auto-tune, meaning they had to impress the world with nothing but their incredible vocals. And incredible they were. The group immediately hit the ground running with the release of their number one single “End of the Road” in 1992. The single broke records, and so did their following two tracks; the Boyz seemed destined for greatness since the earliest days of their acapella harmonies.

Their harmonizing hard work continued to pay off for the next two decades. Selling more than 60 million albums, Boyz II Men remains the best-selling R&B group of all time. Their 12 albums released were more than catchy. The critically-acclaimed work has won the group four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, 2 Billboard Awards, as well as a 2011 MOBO Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

Unlike a lot of groups, Boyz II Men didn’t fade out after reaching major fame early on. “I’ll Make Love to You” and “End of the Road” were incredible, but the group has kept on working to continue bringing the world great music. After hitting a 20 year milestone in 2011, Boyz II Men got together to record “Twenty,” an album with 12 remastered favorites in addition to classic original material. In 2014 after coming off of a residency in Las Vegas, the group hit the studio again to drop a new album called Collide. “Diamond Eyes” has been our ringtone ever since – just saying.
In twenty plus years together, Boyz II Men has never stopped touring the globe and are now stopping in Bangkok to bring us their beloved smooth, emotional jams. The True presented Master of Voices event will be one to remember, and definitely one to take a sexy someone to. Grab your tickets at www.ThaiTicketMajor.com or call 02-262-3456.
