Local indie party purveyors Trasher Bangkok have hit the bigtime with a re-imagination of the video for pop diva Rihanna’s smash hit “We Found Love” set in Bangkok.
Yep, Hollywood shock blogger Perez Hilton has given a shot out the video, which tells the tale of ladyboy love affair.
“It’s such a good video, really well done. Looks just like it was shot by the original director but Bangkok style!” Perez wrote.
The video is, to say the least, bizarre. It’s obviously very professionally done though, and as Perez Hilton said, mimics the style of the Rihanna original. There is indeed talent in this city

The focus on the song is especially timely because electro-pop producer Calvin Harris, who wrote the track, is performing at Bed Supperclub on Feb. 16. Should be massive!
