Some indie favorites are returning again this year for the year-end music fest.
Two acts that played Bangkok last year will give indie fans something to look forward to when they both return in late November as part of six bands just name-dropped for Very Festival.
For the festival’s first day, British indie pop darlings Prep and K-pop indie duo 92914, and Korean-Canadian R&B songwriter Slchld will play, followed by indie rock group Bloc Party and Last Dinosaurs along with American singer Charlie Burg.
Prep played Bangkok late last year, while Last Dinosaurs did a set at competitor Maho Rasop.
More lineup details will be revealed at a later date.
Very Festival will take place Nov. 25-26 in the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center’s Ballroom Hall.
Tickets are now available via Ticketmelon. A two-day pass will set you back THB4,800.
Very Festival, organized by Very Radio, held its three-day 2022 edition at the Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani and featured Franz Ferdinand alongside the likes of John K, Fiji Blue, Lauv, Keshi, Boy Pablo, Adoy, and Joan.
It debuted in 2019 at the Show DC shopping mall, with indie artists and bands including The Marias, Nothing But Thieves, Sticky Fingers, FKJ, and Tahiti 80.
