A many was slightly injured after driving his car into an open ditch yesterday in the Patong area of Phuket, The Phuket News reports.
Rescue workers helped remove Choy Po Fai, 40, who was trapped in his Toyota Vios after driving it into a ditch on Sirirat Road, where a construction project was underway.
A witness said there were no signs in the area to warn drivers of the hazard.
