Rolling loud: Rowdy hip-hop fest coming to Pattaya next Songkran

Miami’s infamously rowdy hip-hop festival Rolling Loud is rolling into Pattaya next year during Songkran.

Organizers announced this evening that the festival will fill three days in April at Pattaya’s Legend Siam amusement park.

Although there was no lineup announced, organizers said the festival would feature 66 artists on two stages. Big-name headliners from the United States regional artists are expected to be announced come November.

The festival will kick off in the afternoon April 13 to 15 and continue until late.

Tickets go one sale Oct. 1 via an undisclosed platform for THB8,500 to 12,000. Installment payments will be available for those who can’t splash out all that scrilla at once.

Thailand will be the first Asian foray for the festival billed as hip-hop’s largest in the world. If anything, it is known for the occasional violence which has broken out since it first was held in 2015.
