After a successful turnout last Friday for its weed party, a museum nestled in the red-light district announced today that it would extend the fun times.

This Friday night, Patpong Museum will bring back its “High Times” party where visitors can immerse in the rich history of the ’70s era when CIA agents had the time of their lives in Bangkok. Some cannabis will be available for THB300-THB900 per gram.

The party is limited to attendees 20 and up – the legal age to purchase and consume in Thailand.

The event will run 9pm onward this Friday.

Since June 9, all parts of the cannabis plant have been decriminalized. While waiting for the Cannabis Act to come into effect – which the health minister has said should happen no later than September – smoking cannabis in public can result in a public nuisance warning. Repeat offenders face arrest.
