In the upcoming photo exhibition, “Spirit of Sanamlaung,” artist Cherdwood Sakolaya captures simple things from a different era.
Cherdwood harks back to scenes 20 years ago at Sanamluang, and captures them in black and white photos, like they would have been shot at that time.
Seeing Sanamluang as the gateway to Thailand’s past and a place that holds memories, Cherdwood said Thais nowdays are easily distracted and they tend to forget and appreciate the past and where they came from.
The Spirit of Sanamluang exhibition will be displayed in Soy Sauce Factory in Charoen Krung soi 24 from Oct. 2 to Nov. 15. Entry is free.
