The good times are back and Canadians in Bangkok are celebrating the gilded era with a Roaring Twenties-themed party next month.
Dress up in ‘20s finery or as the Great Gatsby himself to a gala at the Maple Leaf Ball on Oct. 8 at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, two days before Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving.
The evening begins at 6pm with jazz, a four-course dinner, and a variety of alcoholic beverages before concluding at midnight.
The food will include salad, seared tuna, black peppercorn with rocket salad, and avocado lemon dressing. A chestnut cream soup with roasted almonds will also be served. Mains include roasted turkey with creamy potato and brussels sprouts, followed by dessert.
Tickets are THB4,900 (THB4,400 for CanCham Thailand members) and available online.

The event will be held at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, located near BTS Chit Lom.
