Hasbro Parker Bros. has released a Phuket edition of famed board game Monopoly by way of the national tourism authority.
Players can buy landmarks and locations from Promthep Cape and the Old Town to Kata Beach and Coral Island in Monopoly: Phuket Edition available now only at island stores.
The Phuket edition has been in development since 2020, aka the End of Tourism. The Tourism Authority of Thailand had been accepting suggestions for iconic landmarks to put in the game since last year.
The game is available at venues and board game stores on Phuket such as The Box Cafe, D6 Wargaming Phuket, Blue Tree Phuket Water Park, and the British International School Phuket.
International buyers looking to monopolize on the custom board can only order via UK platforms Booghe and Amazon UK.
