After a slow start, Cosmic Cafe has grown into one of those Bangkok institutions helping drive the expansion of music and culture in the city. But it was always a weird fit among the popped-collar, pop-music crowd wobbling through Royal City Avenue atop high heels and eight balls.
Now it’s time to say goodbye.
After years hosting independent local acts, grooving experimental DJs and sensational international artists, the grungy hideout will see its last night this Saturday, and it has a final line-up to exit the RCA scene in style.
