No Justice, no Beebs: Ailing pop star ‘postpones’ Bangkok gig, Asian tour

Justin Bieber is no longer coming to Bangkok – or anywhere in Asia this year.

Despite the organizers insisting that the Asian leg of his tour was still happening despite the singer canceling dates due to health issues, Live Nation Tero announced this morning that Bieber’s Nov. 6 Bangkok show at Rajamangala Stadium was not happening.

Those with tickets can hold onto them for an unspecified new concert date, or obtain full refunds Tuesday through Nov. 15 via ThaiTicketMajor.

Bieber had been due to sweep through India, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan over the next two months.

Last month, the pop star announced he was taking a break after revealing he was battling Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, a form of facial nerve damage that can cause partial paralysis.

He was able to complete a couple of shows in Europe before doctors advised him to stop touring, and in doing so, cut short his North American tour.

At the time, AEG Presents Asia, the organizer behind the Beeb’s Asian shows, sounded an optimistic note that the show would go on.
