Popular San Francisco DJ killed in Bangkok taxi crash

A popular American DJ from San Francisco was tragically killed in a car accident in Bangkok taxi on Jan. 31.

Solomon Khan, 34-years-old, was on tour in Thailand with his fiancee Nicole Cronin, when the taxi they were in was rammed from behind. The taxi driver reportedly fled the scene of the accident.

Cronin was severely injured and is currently in stable condition. Khan succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead later that day.

Khan was the in-house DJ for the pro basketball team the Golden State Warriors and one of the DJs for pro baseball team the San Francisco Giants. He had also performed with hip-hop acts the Black Eyed Peas, De La Soul, Digital Underground and Groove Collective, according to his MySpace page.

Friends, family, and fans in the San Francisco Bay Area are mourning the popular DJ.
