Tune into Channel 7 at 12:30 am tonight to catch the premier of Thai/British pop star Hugo Chakrabongse Levy’s new music video “Exit, the Fault of Being Sincere” which aims to shed light on the the problem of human trafficking.
The video was produced in collaboration with MTV Exit, a multimedia initiative from MTV to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking and exploitation. USAIS, AUSAi, and Walk Free also partnered with Hugo and MTV Exit to make the video.
MTV Exit’s statement:
This unique music video represents an innovative and creative way to fuse popular musical content with MTV EXIT’s pro-‐social messaging and to engage youth in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation. The gripping four-‐minute video takes viewers inside the emotionally charged and artfully constructed story of an innocent young boy taken and held against his will.
“I am so proud to partner with MTV EXIT on this project. My hope is that this music video ‘Exit, the Fault of Being Sincere’ will encourage more people to join the fight against human trafficking,” said Hugo. “I encourage everyone to go to mtvexit.org and share this link on social media. Join me and take a stand against modern-‐day slavery.”
The “Exit, the Fault of Being Sincere” video was conceived by and produced with generous in-‐kind support from PERSP3CTIVE in Bangkok, Thailand. The gripping images provide dramatic insight into the realities of tricks and traps of trafficking and, in particular, the trafficking of children.
