Hidden hand grenade claims Lat Krabang man’s life

At 7am this morning, Wanchai Noomdee, a 32-year-old King Power employee, was killed at a parking lot in a Lat Krabang apartment complex. Wanchai was moving a plastic bag, unaware that it contained a hand grenade, when the explosion occurred, claiming his life.

Rattaporn Inkham, Wanchai’s girlfriend, told police that there was a plastic bag with hard objects in it behind a wheel of her pickup truck. The bag was preventing her from backing up her car. Rattaporn told Wanchai to move the bag, at which point it exploded.

According to Dailynews, police said that jealousy might have precipitated the explosion. Rattaporn stated that in the past three months, Wanchai’s ex-girlfriend had sent her messages, threatening her to stay away from Wanchai. Police, however, are investigating the case to find if there might be other causes behind the attack.
