Bangkok City Hall building to become museum, library

The Bangkok City Hall building is to become a museum and library after the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) relocates to a new facility in Din Daeng district, The Nation reported.

Bangkok governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra has approved the plan and the BMA will be seeking a firm to design the museum and library as soon as next month.

The BMA will relocate from its current facility in Phra Nakhon District to the new offices by 2013.
